Summary of Changes from Previous Version

28 May 2021: Clauses 18, 40 (table) and 42 amended. Clause 43 added. Amendments require researchers to advise the Animal Welfare Officer immediately when an unexpected adverse event occurs. Approved by DVCRI, 21 May 2021.

25 June 2020: Amended references to UON to University. Administrative amendment, approved by Director, Assurance Services.

This guideline was developed to meet the requirements of the Australian Code for the Care and Use of Animals for Scientific Purposes.
