Summary of Changes from Previous Version

27 June 2022: Clause 163 amended to align with current academic delegations. Approved as administrative amendment, President Academic Senate.

26 April 2022: Clause 151 amended as administrative amendment, to include the word “except”; and update clause references that were incorrect. Approved by University Secretary.

8 November 2021: Position title Director, Student Experience and Administration and Academic Registrar updated to Pro Vice-Chancellor, Student Experience and Academic Registrar, in accordance with Academic Division organisational change endorsed by the Vice-Chancellor on 4 June, 2021. Administrative amendment.

31 March 2021: Reference to Faculty of Health and Medicine changed to College of Health, Medicine and Wellbeing. Administrative amendment, approved by University Secretary.

This review of the manual included provision of overarching assessment information (Clauses 11 to 14); clarification regarding details of admission requirements for Enabling programs; inclusion that JMP will participate in the EAS for 2021 admissions; expansion of Newcastle Law School Indigenous Early Entry Scheme to include Enabling students, removal of some content from Section 15 - International Admissions and relocating to a more appropriate section as it relates to all admissions, and update of the schedules to the manual.
