(1) This policy reflects the University's commitment to equity and diversity and the intent of its Affirmative Action Plan to enhance the participation of women on (2) The appropriate representation of women in particular, on the University's committees supports the elimination of structural and attitudinal barriers to women in the workplace required under the Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Act 1999.
