Graduate Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science Schedule

Section 1 - Transfer of Candidature

(1) The Graduate Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science shall be a step-out award for candidates enrolled in the Master of Pharmacy program.

(2) Candidates for the degree of Master of Pharmacy who have satisfied the requirements for the Graduate Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science may be permitted to transfer candidature to the Graduate Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science. Candidates wishing to transfer shall apply in writing to the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Faculty of Health for approval.

Section 2 - Qualification for the Degree

(3) To qualify for the award of Graduate Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science a candidates shall be enrolled in the Master of Pharmacy and pass a program of study approved by the Academic Senate totalling a minimum of 120 units.

Section 3 - Grading of Graduate Diploma

(4) The Graduate Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science shall be conferred as an ordinary Graduate Diploma.

Section 4 - Credit

(5) Credit for elective courses will only be granted for courses undertaken at 6000 level.

Section 5 - Program Duration

(6) Except with the permission of the Pro Vice-Chancellor a candidate shall complete the program within 2 years of study from the date of commencement.
