Section 1 - Approval of Lotteries (including raffles)

(1) The Vice-Chancellor may approve the conduct of lotteries and other games of chance by Faculties and Divisions for the purpose of fundraising for the University.

(2) All lotteries (including raffles) conducted by the University must conform to the requirements of the appropriate New South Wales legislation (guidelines available on the Department of Industry, Liquor and Gaming, Competitions website.).

(3) Each proposal to conduct a lottery must in the first instance be endorsed by the Pro Vice-Chancellor/Divisional Head and referred to the University General Counsel for legal review.
