18 October 2022: This Procedure was given further consideration by the Executive Committee on 17 October, 2022, and the previous recommendation for approval was retracted pending further consultation. As the current delegations of authority require recommendation for approval by the Executive Committee, the Procedure has been rescinded until such time as further recommendations from the Executive Committee are provided. In the meantime, the previously published procedures as listed below will take effect: - Recruitment, Selection and Appointment of Academic, Teaching and Professional Staff Procedure; - Recruitment, Selection and Appointment of Research Staff from Non-Operating Funds Procedure; - Recruitment, Selection and Appointment of Senior Staff Procedure; - Recruitment, Selection and Appointment of Sessional Academic Staff Guideline; - Secondment – Professional Staff Procedure; and - Appointment by Invitation: Exceptional Circumstances Procedure. A full review has been conducted. This Procedure replaces the Recruitment, selection and Appointment of Research Staff from Non-Operating Funds Procedure; the Recruitment, Selection and Appointment of Senior Staff Procedure; the Recruitment, Selection and Appointment of Sessional Academic Staff Guideline; the Secondment - Professional Staff Procedure; and the Appointment by Invitation: Exceptional Circumstances Procedure.Talent, Recruitment and Appointment Procedure
