Summary of Changes from Previous Version

4 August 2020: UON updated to University throughout. Administrative amendment.

15 May 2019: Amendment to Clause 29 to reflect correct Retention and Disposal Authority. Amendment to Clause 31 and 21 to reflect correct division title of Records Governance Services. Approved by Michelle Jarvie, Director Assurance Services as a minor administrative amendment.

This is the first version of this document to be published in the new UON Policy Library. For all intents and purposes, this version is reflective of the version that was approved, published and in effect at the time the new Policy Library was launched. In migrating the document to the new Policy Library it was subjected to reformatting, including the application of a new numbering system.

The following information details the history of changes to the document prior to its publication in the new UON Policy Library:

25 June 2018: Minor administrative amendments made to reflect appropriate links to other documents and websites. Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation) approved extension of review date to 30 June 2020.

2 February 2018 – minor administrative amendments to align with UON Policy Glossary.

12 October 2015 - Re-drafted and re-formatted as part of a routine review. The Policy and Procedure were combined and rebadged as a Guideline in accordance with the proposal approved in principle by Academic Senate (AS15:012). Academic Senate also approved the reallocation of approval authority to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (R&I) (AS15:012).
