Summary of Changes from Previous Version

In response to the Support for Students Amendments made to the Higher Education Support Act 2003 (HESA), and announced by the Government in late 2023, a Student Academic Performance Evaluation Framework comprising a Student Academic Performance Evaluation Policy and Student Academic Performance Evaluation Procedure were developed. These Policy and Procedure outline the use of learning analytics for early identification of students in need of academic support to facilitate academic success in their courses and compliance with new legislative requirements. Learning Analytics will also facilitate adaptive and responsive educational design and learning environments â€" incorporating information on students' academic progress, engagement, results, and enrolment trends.
