Summary of Changes from Previous Version

This is the first version of this document to be published in the new University of Newcastle Policy Library. For all intents and purposes, this version is reflective of the version that was approved, published and in effect from 7 November, 2018. In migrating the document to the new Policy Library it was subjected to reformatting, including the application of a new numbering system.

The following information details the history of changes to the document prior to its publication in the new University of Newcastle Policy Library:

7 November, 2018: minor administrative amendments to Clause 3.6c to reflect the corresponding procedure and guideline; and 3.7 (ii) and (iii) to reflect correct delegated authorities.

30 November, 2016: changes made to titles, headings and definitions.

25 January, 2016: DVC-A office determined as an editorial change to clause 3.4 - wording added "not less than"... and erroneous clause numbering ie: i;ii;iii etc

9 July 2015: documents revised and approved by Academic Senate 8 July 2015. Approved by UNE's Academic Board 11 May 2015; and co-approved by UNE's Vice Chancellor.

18 December 2014: clause 3.6 "Appeals" removed on advice from the JMP Coordinator.

10 October 2014: minor edits to formatting and removal of references to rescinded policies.

24 October 2013: minor amendment to replace Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Services) with the Academic Registrar in clauses 3.2.ii. and 3.4.i., Secretariat.
