Summary of Changes from Previous Version

This is the first version of this document to be published in the new University of Newcastle Policy Library. For all intents and purposes, this version is reflective of the version that was approved, published and in effect from 30 November 2016. In migrating the document to the new Policy Library it was subjected to
reformatting, including the application of a new numbering system.

The following information details the history of changes to the document prior to its publication in the new University of Newcastle Policy Library:

6 July 2016: document amended to reflect organisational and governance structures at UNE and UON, as well as changes in assessment practice.

8 December 2014: changes made to clause 1.2 - Assessment Rules for elective (non-MEDI) Course/Units undertaken by BMed-JMP students will be in accordance with the policy information provided in the Course/Unit outline of the relevant elective course/unit.

10 October 2014: minor edits to formatting and removal of references to rescinded policies.

5 January 2012: removal of reference to rescinded policy documents Course Outlines Policy 000587, Special Circumstances Affecting Assessment Items Procedure 000641 and repetition of Rule 000113.
