Summary of Changes from Previous Version

The Course Management and Assessment Manual has been split into two documents. This manual, the Course Design and Management Manual is structured to follow the progression of a course from design and approval through to discontinuation. Key changes have been made to define requirements for course codes, revise standard unit values, provisions relating to co-badged courses, requirements for multi-sequence courses. The six modes of delivery for courses, approved by Academic Senate in 2023, have been embedded in the Manual. Approval timelines and authorities for changes to the Course Availability List have been revised. The definitions of School level, College level and University level course revisions have been revised and provisions on course discontinuation have been expanded.
