This is the first version of this document to be published in the new UON Policy Library. For all intents and purposes, this version is reflective of the version that was approved, published and in effect at the time the new Policy Library was launched. In migrating the document to the new Policy Library it was subjected to reformatting, including the application of a new numbering system and removal of references to Rules rescinded by Council Resolution on 7 March 2018. The following information details the history of changes to the document prior to its publication in the new UON Policy Library: 16 September 2016 – administrative amendment to section 5.1.7 as a result of a change to Government terminology. 6 July 2016 – Academic Senate approved amendments to clause 7.1.9 to reflect revisions to the requirements of the Yapug program. 28 October 2015 – Academic Senate approved amendments to clause 4.1.3 for revisions to the duration of the Open Foundation program. 8 September 2015 – administrative updates to the Essential and Supporting documents actioned by Manager, Academic Policy and Governance. 08 July 2015 – Academic Senate approved amendments to clause 5.1.9 including transition arrangements (Resolution AS15:048) 8 October 2014 - Minor administrative changes made to titles and hyperlinks 18 June 2014 - Academic Senate approved revisions to reflect the discontinuation of the International Foundation Program, removing program model E3 and making minor amendments to in terminology from “distance” to “online” for the Open Foundation program (AS14:087) (Doc ELFSCTL14:004). Document number changed from 000959 to D12/13410P. Academic Senate approved revisions to Clauses 5.1.6.a; 5.1.7: which increases the minimum age from 17 to 18 years to commence in 2014; allows the completion of an appropriate post-secondary qualification to be added for students that have not completed the HSC to commence in 2013; and requires supporting documentation demonstrating the educational impact on applicants meeting equity criteria to commence in 2013, at its 20 February 2013 meeting (AS13:017) (Doc PCAC13:011).
