Summary of Changes from Previous Version

This is the first version of this document to be published in the new UON Policy Library. For all intents and purposes, this version is reflective of the version that was approved, published and in effect at the time the new Policy Library was launched. In migrating the document to the new Policy Library it was subjected to reformatting, including the application of a new numbering system.

The following information details the history of changes to the document prior to its publication in the new UON Policy Library:

Minor administrative amendments made - to update references to the University's Equity and Diversity Plans (Section1) and the Wollotuka Institute (section 6.1), 8 October 2014

Minor amendments - Updated Essential & Related documents and modified Policy Sponsor from DVC (Academic & Global Relations) to DVC (Academic) to reflect structural changes from 1 January 2013, The Secretariat, 25 June 2013.

Minor amendment - 11 March 2013 Vice-Chancellor approved policy title change to Promoting a Respectful and Collaborative University: Diversity and Inclusiveness Policy 000941.

New Diversity and Inclusiveness Policy 000941 approved Vice-Chancellor 23 June 2011 replaces the rescinded policies -

- Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity Policy Statement 000252

- Discrimination, Harassment, Bullying and Workplace Violence Policy 000393

- Diversity and Inclusiveness Policy 000751

- Racism Policy 000278

Minor amendment - Prejudicial Relationship Policy deleted and superseded by Conflicts of Interest Policy 000934, approved Council 18 March 2011.
