Summary of Changes from Previous Version

This is the first version of this document to be published in the new UON Policy Library. For all intents and purposes, this version is reflective of the version that was approved, published and in effect at the time the new Policy Library was launched. In migrating the document to the new Policy Library it was subjected to reformatting, including the application of a new numbering system and removal of reference to Rules rescinded by Council resolution on 7 March 2018.


The following information details the history of changes to the document prior to its publication in the new UON Policy Library:


Minor Amendment - Replaced Policy Sponsor with Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Governance and Policy, 18 January 2013. Amendment to Clauses 4.1, 4.2, 4.2.1, 4.3, 4.3.1 and 8 to align the Research Higher Degree duration to the Australian Government's Research Training Scheme Grant conditions approved by President of Academic Senate, under delegated authority, 17 December 2012.


Program Management Policy and Procedure Manual - Coursework added to Introduction and Coursework added in clause 8, 26 March 2012.


Amendment Clause 4.1.1.e - correction of time for completion of Professional Doctorate from 5 to 10 years, approved President of Academic Senate under AUB1 8 March 2012.
