Wellbeing

As noted in the University of Newcastle's Safety Charter, the University has a responsibility to create and maintain campuses where staff and students are safe, valued and empowered. Everyone has a responsibility to act in a safe way and ensure the safety of themselves and others in the workplace, both physically and psychologically. In adopting a beyond-zero approach to safety management, we will be an exemplar in our safety standard, prevention of harm and promotion of wellbeing.

Sometimes the pressures of life and work can be overwhelming and you need advice, direction or just someone to speak to. Positive mental health allows you to lead a more enriched personal and work life.

Staff can access a range of wellbeing information, activities, initiatives, resources support services and training  on the Wellbeing SharePoint site.
